Southwest Ag Service (SWAG) is a family-owned, certified, small business enterprise (SBE) serving complex agricultural and earth moving projects of all sizes throughout South and Central Florida.
What sets this professional team apart is our extensive knowledge, local expertise, hands-on experience with real-world conditions, and a track record for exceptional execution. More importantly, we believe in infrastructure that respects and protects our environment. Grounded in Tradition & Real-World Experience
Southwest Ag Service was founded in 2009 by Craig Hampton and Glenn Holt, both of whom were raised in the agricultural community of LaBelle, Florida. Before starting the company, Craig and Glenn spent years working in the citrus and farming industries south of Lake Okeechobee. During that time, they developed a working knowledge of heavy equipment selection, maintenance, modification, operation, and other valuable skills that would later define the company’s success.
A highly specialized project in partnership with the South Florida Water Management District set the foundation for the company’s growth. With a John Deere tractor, a soil inversion plow, and a modified Rome soil ripper, the team was tasked with remediating approximately 2,000 acres of pesticide-impacted muck soils on a former sugarcane site.
What started with a small set of equipment and a highly technical assignment soon grew into a well-equipped operation with a robust fleet. Today, Southwest Ag Service delivers specialized solutions and precise results, supporting agricultural land management and environmental projects throughout South and Central Florida.
